Having advised on its creation over the course of this year, Morgan Sports Law is proud to be providing legal support to the newly established players’ union, The Women’s Rugby Association (the WRA), as its legal services partner.

The WRA, led by former England international, Nolli Waterman, will provide a collective voice and support for women playing in the Premier 15s competition.

In addition to collective representation, the WRA will offer assistance with individual Premier 15s contracts and commercial agreements; education and support on personal and professional welfare and development; and access to virtual and physical events with leaders from across sport and business.

Nolli Waterman, Co-Founder and CEO, said: “At a pivotal time in domestic women’s rugby, it is important that players are appropriately supported and protected on and off the field so that they can perform at their best in rugby and beyond. It is fantastic to have the support of Morgan Sports Law to assist us in establishing the WRA and to be able to offer their expertise to our members”.

Mike Morgan, Managing Partner of Morgan Sports Law, added: “It’s great to see women rugby union players now being offered the level of support they deserve. We are looking forward to continuing to build our relationship with the WRA and providing our expertise and assistance as the union grows”.
