Associate

Ellen joined Morgan Sports Law as a paralegal in September 2019 and became an Associate in September 2023.

Ellen works in disputes across the firm, particularly in equestrian and litigation services.

Ellen speaks French, German and Spanish and holds a master’s degree in foreign languages.

Ellen assists lawyers across the firm in a range of work including:

  • acting for equestrian athletes in human and equine anti-doping proceedings before the FEI Tribunal and Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS);

  • representing athletes in disciplinary, contractual and regulatory disputes at national and international dispute resolution chambers – including the Basketball Arbitration Tribunal, CAS, FEI Tribunal and US Equestrian Federation Hearing Committee;

  • advising equestrian athletes, equestrian businesses and events organisers on sports-related issues, particularly compliance with sports regulations;

  • assisting athletes with reputation management matters.
