Morgan Sports Law acts for Veronica Campbell-Brown in her successful appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Summary

CAS 2014/A/3487 Veronica Campbell-Brown v. The Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (“JAAA”) & The International Association of Athletics Federations (“IAAF”).

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (“CAS”) has confirmed that Veronica Campbell-Brown’s appeal against the decisions of the JAAA and the IAAF that she had committed an anti-doping rule violation has been upheld.

Ms Campbell-Brown is therefore free to return to competition with immediate effect. Ms Campbell-Brown will now defend her world 200m crown at the 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championships to be held in Sopot, Poland between 7 and 9 March 2014.
