Morgan Sports Law Sponsors Football Legal African Conference

Africa is a growing strategic location in the football landscape. Leveraging its extensive expertise in football matters, Morgan Sports Law partnered with Football Legal as part of its first conference in Yaounde, Cameroon, on 17 and 18 June 2024.

Partner, William Sternheimer, moderated the Panel concerning the player’s labour environment alongside experts Loïc Alves (senior legal counsel at FIFPRO), Hamidou Dramé (attorney-at-law in Guinea) and Geremi Njitap (President of SYNAFOC and Vice-President of FIFPRO).

This panel provided insight into the challenges faced by football players in their interactions with clubs and national federations alike.
