Daryl Impey cleared of doping charges

Morgan Sports Law acts for Daryl Impey in his successful defence against anti-doping charges.

Summary

Following a hearing in Johannesburg on Thursday 28 August 2014, the Anti-Doping Committee of the South African Institute for Drug-Free Sport has determined that Mr Impey bore no fault or negligence for the presence of Probenecid in a sample collected from him on 6 February 2014.

Mr Impey will therefore not face any further consequences and is free to return to competition with immediate effect.

Mr Impey is a professional road cyclist for the UCI WorldTeam, Orica-GreenEDGE.
