Richard joined Morgan Sports Law in September 2014 having spent a year as a legal consultant in the pharmaceuticals industry.  Prior to that, Richard worked for over six years within the commercial and intellectual property team of a leading international law firm. Richard holds a degree in Genetics.

Richard’s practice is focused on contentious matters, with particular experience advising on contractual, doping and disciplinary disputes. Richard has acted for individual athletes, teams and organisations in proceedings before the High Court, the Court of Arbitration for Sport, and the panels of various international and national federations.
